Hello Lavenders
Welcome to another blog post; I hope you enjoyed last week's post. Thank you for your excellent comments, feedback, and birthday wishes. I genuinely appreciate it. God Bless You Greatly. I hope you enjoy today's post; thank you :).
As a new 20-year-old, being 20 is a whole different feeling. The past year in my life was surreal. I learned and grew so much in all aspects of my life. It was the turning point in my life. The most significant year so far. One of the reasons is that I began my blog and podcast this past year. Alongside experiencing highs, I also experienced my lows. I remember entering my nineteenth year on the altar at my church while my mom prayed for me. I remember her prayers like it was yesterday. They were divine.
One of the words that stuck out to me was, "God, reveal yourself in a different light in this new year of her life." Before I clocked 19, I always felt like I existed and not lived, but this changed for the first time. Nineteen made me feel fulfilled. I woke up every day motivated and joyful to be pursuing my passion. I have many goals and dreams to help humanity, especially the poor and less privileged. Getting to begin to fulfill my dreams at a young age has been a blessing. I always thought I would start to fulfill my dreams when I got older, but I am so grateful to God for granting me the opportunity to begin to fulfill my dreams.
As I look forward to my twentieth year of life, I cannot wait for the great opportunities in all aspects of my life: academics, writing career, foundation, blog, and podcast. One of the great opportunities I am looking forward to is starting a merchandise line for the Lavender Woman very soon. I am super excited about this. There is so much more ahead of me in this next phase of my life, and I cannot wait to see and experience all of it. For my 20s, one of my goals is to be a giver. One of the organizations that is very dear to my heart is Compassion International.
Compassion International is an organization that helps provide for children in poverty. You can sponsor a child or donate monthly at https://www.compassion.com/. God Bless You As You Do So. Once Again, thank you for your love, support, and birthday wishes. God Bless Every Single One Of You. I hope you have a great rest of your day and a blessed week.
Sincerely,
Toluwanimi ❤️
