Be Intentional About Life: The Importance of Self Care

Updated: Jan 13

Happy July 2023,

Wow. I cannot believe it is July already.

The Second Half of 2023 is upon us. We Thank GOD for His Mercies and All the Blessings He Blessed Us With In the First Half of 2023.

Today's blog post is devoted to self-care. I have been intentional about self-care throughout this year and will be in the years to come. Here are ten tips for living intentionally and taking better care of yourself.

A. Build Your Relationship With GOD: Have you ever heard of the Proverbs 31 Woman? The Proverbs 31 Woman was a woman we refer to as GOALS in our present age. She was wealthy, had her morning routine down, and her husband was proud to call her his wife. Many often say she is hard to beat, but others see her as an inspiration—no matter your side. The most important thing to know is she had a great relationship with GOD. Her Relationship with GOD was the root of her whole life. She was wealthy because she sorted the wisdom of GOD; she was a prize to her husband because she had GOD as her FIRST LOVE.

To the young woman reading this, develop your relationship with YAHWEH. It will change the course and path of your life forever. My Relationship With GOD has transformed every aspect of my life. GOD has helped me; GOD has molded me. He has made ways for me and shown me His Salvation.

  • Psalm 16:11 says, "You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever."

B. Read Books: Education is beyond school. Going to school does not mean you are educated, and not going to school does not mean you are not. Education is not what we are only taught but what we acquire ourselves. Reading Books opens the minds of many. Books on every aspect of life are essential for a well-balanced life. I read seven books in 2022 and plan to read more in 2023.

C. Drink Water: Water is essential. It makes up more than 70% of the human body and benefits your body's intracellular and extracellular fluids. So, Drink Up :). Drink according to your body size and preferences.

D. Travel: Diversity lies beyond the four walls of an individual's home. Yes, we have few or many members of our families, but the world has a lot to it to be discovered. Travel on Solo Trips, Group Trips, Family Trips, etc.

- Solo Dates and Trips are something I began this year. It is so helpful for the soul. It helps you connect beyond your everyday life. Self Care is Solo Dates and Trips.

E. Sort Out Opportunities To Be the Best Version of Yourself: We are all improving to get better. Each Day is an opportunity to achieve more incredible things on Earth. Do Not Waste Your Years; use them wisely.

Happy New Month Once Again. See you in Part 2 ❤️.
