Be Intentional: The Importance of Self Care Part 2

Updated: Jan 13

Welcome Back To Part 2,

I hope you are doing well and having a great day so far. I want to say a big thank you for riding with me these past three years. This year would mark three years since I began this blog.

Hosting this blog for the past three years has been an absolute dream. Thank you for your reads, likes, and subscriptions. I will send out a newsletter soon to receive feedback on how I can improve the blog, whether it be the style of the blogs, length, etc. I am open to feedback. Thank You Once Again.

It is mid-July, and July has been excellent. Today's post is the second part of the self-care blog post.

The five remaining points are:

A. Love Yourself: As a young woman growing up, I always thought being in love was the best thing that could ever happen to me. I thought that love was all that mattered. I focused on trying to be loved instead of loving myself.

Self Love is the Best Love. During my teenage years, I learned that no relationship can satisfy an individual, like a relationship with oneself and GOD. GOD is the only one that heals anyone and everyone who is broken. Desiring to be in a relationship without Christ is going on a trip without a GPS. Love is fantastic, but love that is pursued intentionally with oneself sets the foundation for a great marriage.

1. Have you ever heard that a great marriage involves two people coming together to form an entire marriage?

2. Two Half People or two broken people cannot create a great marriage.

3. Many young females struggle with self-identity, love, and esteem, and the proper methods and tools must be taken to help navigate and begin the road to healing.

4. I highly recommend counseling to anyone, especially young females growing up. Getting a Christian Counselor is best. It helps when you have someone aligning with your faith, so you receive godly advice.

B. Work Out: The benefits of working out regularly are health benefits and helping your mind and soul.

C. Develop New Skills and Talents: There is so much more inside of you than you have discovered. Gifts and Talents are not found in a day or year but throughout a lifetime.

D. Learn Financial Habits: Finances are a major part of life. Financial Literacy is one of the most significant factors in life that causes many to sidetrack the most essential things in life. Trying to acquire wealth is what many chases after, but Matthew 6:33 says, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." When we seek His Kingdom First, He will add everything to us, including wealth. If you do not search for wealth, it comes to you.

E. Build A Deeper Relationship with Family and Yourself: Family is Everything. Family is all we have. Keep your family close. Maintain unity, love, and joy within your family; family is essential after GOD. Family is all we have got. As you develop a great relationship with yourself, you learn how to love your family efficiently and effectively. First, Peter 4:8 says, "Above all, love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins." Love is what overcomes all".

So, today, choose LOVE above anything else.

Finally, BE HAPPY. Joy in Christ is the antidote to life.
