First Love

Updated: Jan 2, 2024

Hello Lavenders,

Welcome to our first blog. I am so excited to begin this journey with you. This is going to be an incredible journey. I look forward to learning and growing with you as we navigate life and discover our purpose. If you are as excited as I am, be sure to like, comment, share, and subscribe. This is going to be an amazing journey. :)

Do you remember all your firsts? Well, if you do, you are in for a treat today.

First, anything for young females is always a big deal. First car, friends, phone, crush, etc. What comes to mind when you think about the title "first love"? During our teenage and youth years, the idea of love, relationships, and marriage is often idolized. Our society has done a fair job of portraying what it understands to be love. We see this in movies, films, TV shows, etc. We are taught to fantasize and crave love but are too young to understand love. We must know and love God fully before every young female can experience true love. Knowing God teaches us about ourselves and our worth and value in Christ. We understand what it means to be a Lavender: precious, rare, and beautiful. Every young woman should spend her teenage and youth years discovering her interests, passions, talents, and gifts rather than chasing after love. We should spend these years discovering our purpose on the earth. A female's worth is not defined by what she does, how beautiful or talented she is, but how she sees herself. Solomon 4:7 says, "You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you." Do you carry yourself with poise, respect, and honor? Do you know yourself and love yourself?

You cannot love anyone or everyone if you do not love you. To love you is to know God, and to know God is to love you. Every young woman must learn to know God. You cannot discover your interests, passions, talents, gifts, or purpose if you do not spend your youth chasing after God, his interests, and his kingdom. True love is fulfilled in yourself because you have the love of God fully within you; it is not just knowing the phrase "God loves you" but understanding and experiencing it fully. I want to challenge and encourage you today to make the one who matters the most your first, only love during these years of your life. A boy, guy, or man cannot love you like God. You must first know God, love him, and find your passions, talents, gifts, and interests; from this, you will begin to love yourself, and then you will know and understand what it means to love and be in love.

Thank you so much for reading; God Bless You Greatly. Remember to like, comment, share, and subscribe. If you are reading and do not believe in God, I encourage you to have an open heart and mind and give God a chance to prove himself to you. Please say this prayer: "Heavenly Father, I am a sinner and come to you to ask you to forgive me of my terrible sins. Thank you for dying for my sins and bearing the shame on that Cross so I may have eternal life. Today, I confess with my mouth that I have sinned against you, and believe with my whole heart that Jesus is Lord, and God raised Him from the dead on the third day. He is seated on the Heavenly throne and intercedes on my behalf. I give you my heart, soul, and life and pray that I will obey thy Word. In the precious name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen."

If you just said that prayer, welcome to the family of believers. Congratulations!! Heaven rejoiced; God is so glad and happy to have you in his family. I will be praying for you and your walk with God. Feel free to contact me on the next steps in this new chapter in your life.
