Lavenders, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. I cannot believe it has been a year since the Lavender Woman Launched. It has been a fantastic year, and to celebrate, today I will be discussing the past year. The past year in my life has been profound. When I told her I was starting my blog, the idea of the Lavender Woman came to me through my mother's advice about having a mission and vision for my blog. Lavender is a rare and beautiful flower. The mission of the Lavender Woman is "equipping young women to impact lives for Christ." Over the past year, I have tried to inspire and have an impact on every blog. I have shared my personal experiences and other people's experiences, hoping that lives would be changed. I do not know of many talents or gifts, but writing is one of my gifts. If you have never heard me say or know this, you need to listen to this today: I LOVE TO WRITE. WRITING IS MY PASSION. I had to put this in all caps for you to understand the degree and depth of my love for writing. Ever since childhood, I have wanted to be a writer. Living my daily dream through my blog has been a dream come true.
Like every other young female, I am searching to discover my purpose and destiny. I am on a journey to discover myself. Thank you for allowing me to live my dream. Thank you for letting me become and grow into the woman God calls me to become. I cannot express how grateful I am to be the founder of the Lavender Woman. Thank you for believing in me and my mission and vision. Thank you for your likes, comments, and subscriptions. Getting to have and own my blog has been a surreal experience. I finally feel like I am living and spending my days right.
I am happy and excited to see the growth and elevation ahead. There are so many great things ahead of us. One of my visions for the Lavender Woman is to start a podcast and have many great women discuss their lives and journeys. Please be on the lookout for this.
Words are not enough to express the joy I feel right now. I experience an unending joy daily whenever I have to write. I prioritize writing in my busy life and schedule. When you have passion for something, it comes easy for you; for me, it is writing. It does not matter how silly or funny your dream might be or sound to others—Chase after it. The joy I feel in my soul when I write is unexplainable. The titles of my blogs come to me anytime, any day, everywhere, and from there, I start writing. It just comes to me, and I owe it all to you for giving me the freedom to express myself and constantly encouraging me to improve.
