Happy July 2024, Everyone. Thank God for His Faithfulness In bringing us into the second half of the year.
Today's blog post is titled "Heaven is the Destination."
There is no place like Heaven. It's a destination that fills us with wonder and awe, a place of unimaginable beauty and peace.
Life is exciting, and free will makes it more interesting.
No perfect path or person exists, but we can all navigate life's challenges with the guidance and support of Christ.
I think the most important thing about life is that "we all live to serve and glorify GOD."
The structure of our everyday life makes it very easy to get caught up in the ways of flesh, men, and the world.
As we approach the second half of this year, I want us to be challenged in our approach to life. Life is an opportunity. Life is a privilege.
Each of us was created in this life for a purpose. The decade or century we were born in is for a purpose, and the years we are here are for a purpose.
Those who have come and gone were here for a purpose. Live each day knowing that Heaven is the ultimate destination, and that our actions in this life have eternal consequences. Don't get caught up in the systems of the world. Instead, live with the understanding that our choices should reflect our belief in eternity with God.
Heaven keeps a record of everything, and we must know that this record is what determines our eternal life. Live with eternity in mind. Refrain from getting caught up in your ways, methods, and lifestyles. Christ is the way.
The earth will go with the planet, but God, in Christian belief, remains constant and unchanging. Be a light. Be the light. Be the representative of the LORD. God has called us to be lights in a world that often seems dark and uncertain.
I understand that the pressures and challenges of life can make it difficult to stay committed to our faith. However, this is the test of our faith. No matter how hard life is. No matter how crazy things might get. No matter how circumstances might be, God is worthy of being followed.
This is how I approach life: One day, I will leave this earth after a long, great life, but while I am here, I do my best to live in a way that is pleasing to God. I am not perfect, but I am trying to figure it out each day and year with God on my side.
If God is for you, who can be against you? God loves you and has a plan for your life. Follow Him Wholeheartedly. Be determined to make Heaven Your Destination.
