Happy Friday Lavenders
I hope your day has been off to a great start. Mine has been great. Today's blog post is about building your brand. Suppose you are a content creator, blogger, YouTuber, etc. This post is for you. As always, like, share, comment, and subscribe. Thank you :).
What comes to mind when you think of the word "brand"? I think about money, fame, Instagram, ads, and all that good stuff. According to the Cambridge Dictionary, Branding is "the act of giving a company a particular design or symbol to advertise its products and services." In today's blog, I will share six tools and tips on building your brand. So Let's Begin:
The first tip in building your brand is finding your niche. Niche is your audience, the group of people you are targeting. The group of people you wish to support, inspire, impact, and influence through your craft. What are you passionate about? What can you do for a month? Is it photography, baking, or art? Whatever it is, this is how you will target your niche—the same group of people who share your interests and passions.
The second tip is to be consistent. Consistency in your craft is vital. For example, if you want to start a YouTube channel, you can post one video per week for a certain period, such as a six-month timeline. You can then progress to putting out two or three videos per week. Starting in April, I will put out two weekly blogs, so be on the lookout for that. With consistency comes organization; the organization is crucial to building your brand and keeping up with your audience. One of the strategies I use to keep up with my blog weekly and monthly is scheduling my blog before the release dates. Along with being a blogger, I am also a student, and college is a lot of work, so the organization keeps me together and motivated.
The third tip is investing in the right equipment. One of the best ways to invest in the right equipment is by researching the right equipment. If you want to start a YouTube channel, one of the best cameras for recording is the Nikon D3300 Camera. The features and settings on this camera are next-level great. I own one and use it for school assignments, such as recording a speech for my Communications 105 Class. I hope you check it out and purchase one. It is worth it, I promise you. Another piece of equipment you should invest in is a Ring Light. Ring Lights are great for anything and everything, such as taking photos, recording a YouTube channel, recording a TikTok Video, etc. One of the best Ring Lights you could own is the Neewer Ring Light. This Neewer Ring Light comes in a package; it has a case and charger and is a great size. You can check it out and purchase the ring light.
The fourth tip is to create your core values and stick with them. Core values are a huge part of building your brand. Your core values reflect who you are; core values such as authenticity are significant for any brand. Some of my core values are honesty, persistence, and authenticity. Your audience needs to identify your core values quickly; I should be able to look at your brand and know your values.
The fifth tip is to Be Yourself. It is straightforward to get cut up in the crowd and to do certain things for the cloud to make money, gain fame, and be out there. But you must stay true to yourself to progress and grow your brand. This also allows your social media platform to reflect who you are. Your social media page, such as Instagram, should reflect your identity. Your craft should be reflected on your page if you are a photographer. If you are a Youtuber, your YouTube channel should reflect you; everything should reflect you, from your intro to your thumbnail to your content.
The sixth and final tip is to create a website for your craft. Wix offers many website builders, such as a Photography Website or a Blank Website Page. All you need to do is set up your website with the template Wix provides, purchase your domain, and own everything. You can upgrade, edit, and modify your website anytime. As you advance in your craft, your website should also advance. Wix will allow you to do this. Let me know in the comment section when you purchase your website; I promise to check it out.
These are all the tips I have for you today. Thank you so much for reading; God Bless You Greatly. Remember to like, comment, share, and subscribe. I hope you have a great rest of your day and week.
