How to Start and Build Your Blog

Updated: Jan 11

Good Morning Lavenders. Welcome to another blog post. How are you doing today? I hope you are having a blessed day so far. Today's blog is about my passion, which you already know is writing. For those who do not know, writing is my passion, and I will share it all today. I hope you enjoy the post. Please be sure to likeshare, comment, and subscribe. Thank you. :).

If you are a writer like me, you know that writing takes a lot of work and skill, but it comes easy to you when you have passion for it. In today's blog, I will share eight steps to pursue your blog. So, Let's Get Right To It:

The first step is to Research your Topic and Interest: Blogs need to discuss specific categories and content to inspire and impact readers. The four or five minutes readers spend in their day to read your blog post should be worth it. The first sentence should be captivating and grab your audience's attention. You can use different elements to establish this, such as a hook to create attention.

The second step is to Find and Pick Your Niche: Who is your target audience? Who are you looking to inspire? What group of people are you looking to change for the better? Finding the right niche is critical to starting and building your blog. After finding your niche, picking the niche is the next step. Find, then You Pick.

The third step is to Purchase Your Website: Purchasing an affordable and great website builder can take a lot of work. With so many companies such as Wix, GoDaddy, BlueHost, Squarespace, and others offering great offers, choosing the perfect one for you can be challenging. I use Wix. Wix is a fantastic platform to start and build your blog. It offers many different website builders, such as a Photography Website or a Blank Website Page. All you need to do is research Wix.com and create an account by signing up, and you are set to go. After signing up, your template, features, and settings are ready. Set up your website and purchase your domain; you are prepared to go. You can upgrade, edit, and modify your website anytime. Your website should also advance as you advance in your craft, and Wix allows you to do this.

The fourth step is to Purchase Grammarly Checker to edit your blogs: Grammarly Checker is a software that checks for grammatical and spelling errors, incorrect punctuation, and misused words for anything and everything. We write online daily and anywhere, such as on YouTube, Twitter, Gmail, Facebook, and hundreds of other sites. You can depend solely on it, and you can use it for any and every text. Grammarly has so many great features. I use its many features to polish and modify my blogs. You can sign up for Grammarly for free. After a month or two of using it, you can purchase a Premium Plan. They have four plans: monthly, quarterly, annually, and for grammar business. Each plan is affordable and convenient. You can purchase the plan that works best for you. You can try it out today by simply clicking the word Grammarly Checker.

The fifth step is to write your first post. It is fascinating when your first blog post is published. I remember checking how many views, comments and likes I had every hour. Currently, I have over 80 views on my first blog post. One of the tools I used for my first post was writing about a common and sensitive topic: First Love. The mission of the Lavender Woman is equipping young females to impact lives for Christ; my target audience is females, most specifically young females. Many males read the blog post, and I got a lot of feedback; it was terrific.

The sixth step is to Be consistent: Consistency is everything. No matter what you are doing or pursuing, you need consistency to be established in your field. You will be highly successful if you are consistent, hardworking, and determined.

The seventh step is to use your tags, SEO, and titles wisely: One of the many features of writing a blog is tags, SEO, and titles. Tags help readers navigate through your blog post and know the content of your post. The key to this is using the tags, SEO, and titles wisely to create traffic to your blog. Traffic to your blog is created in different ways, and this is one of them.

The eighth step is to publish blog posts two or three times a week after some time. Most bloggers usually start by posting once a week and then advance to two or three times a week. This is a great strategy to improvise, especially once you start gaining a lot of views. Building your brand needs more content and is how you build your audience.

Thank you so much for reading. God Bless You Greatly. If you want to start a blog, I hope today's blog was valuable and helpful. Blogging is a great field to endeavor in. You can write about anything and everything. From love to faith, family, food, drinks, literally everything. It is a diverse and significant field. One of the great reasons I love writing is how I express my life experiences and the events that occur in my life. I write so people can learn from my mistakes, be inspired by my story, and teach me the right path to walk to the best of my ability. Writing is my passion, and I love it so much. In the comment section below, let me know if you decide to start your blog; leave the name and link. I promise to check it out. Have a great rest of your day and week.
