Happy March Everyone,
Welcome to March 2023. Welcome to the third month of 2023. I hope you are doing well and having a great day to the month.
3 is a symbolic number representing the Trinity: God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Below is A Prayer for March:
Dear March,
I am thankful to be witnessing you in joy and happiness. I am grateful to witness you in divine health, peace, and sound mind. I am thankful for the blessings in store for me and are ahead of me. I pray that you bless me beyond human imagination. I pray that all the blessings set for me shall come to me. I shall be guided and led by GOD this month and always be remembered in the name of JESUS CHRIST, AMEN. Cheers to the best month yet.
Today's blog post is a book review of The Richest Man in Babylon:
To begin, this book is a must-read. The knowledge and wisdom it possesses are beyond human understanding. There were seven principles to the guidance of wealth outlined and discussed throughout the book, and each of them is listed below:
Point 1: A Part of All You Earn Is Yours To Keep (Some Keep: 10 Percent)
One Profound Thing that stood out to me from this point was that salary makes us pay everyone except ourselves. Ironically, most of our paychecks usually go to others but not ourselves.
We can pay our bills and other daily expenses and have nothing to show at the end of the month.
You should always pay your tithe first and then proceed to save at least 10 percent of your earnings. Earnings will not be spent on daily life, but earnings that will earn earnings, which will earn profits.
Point 2: Control your expenditures (You cannot spend more than you earn). Budget Your Expenses.
Budget How You Spend, and What You Spend It On. There are 50, 30, and 20, which indicates that 50% should be spent on needs, 30% on wants, and 20% on savings.
Point 3: Make thy gold multiply
To march into wealth and abundance, you must multiply your wealth. You have to sort out ways to make your wealth multiply. In today's economy, there are several ways in which you can make your wealth multiply.
Point 4: Guard thy treasures against loss. The quotes on Pages 34-Beginning (35): You must protect your wealth. Wealth is fragile, especially in our economy today. We must work on doing our best to protect our treasures.
Point 5: Own their own home: A home is an asset, but according to Rich Dad and Poor Dad, it is a liability. Homeownership is one of the most outstanding achievements in this life journey. A home is not a house. A home is where love radiates and lays. A home is yours forever and can always gain profit.
Point 6: Provide in advance for the needs of thy growing age and the protection of their family
Thinking about today alone is the typical mindset of any individual, especially for a young person. There should be other vital areas of savings.
A. Save for retirement
B. Save for your children
C. Save for your Wedding
D. Save for your goals and dreams
E. Save for the advancement of the Kingdom of GOD
Point 7: Increase your ability to earn: Cultivate Your powers to study and become wiser, more skillful, and act as to respect yourself. Thereby shalt thou acquire confidence in thyself to achieve thy carefully considered desires.
Significant Quotes: Pages 40, 41 and 42
Start where you are; little drops of water will become a river. I do not have all the money I desire right now, but I have begun saving for the future. I will be financially independent, stable, and secure in the next five years.
Happy March Once Again. Please Start Your Month by purchasing this book and reading it to expand and invest in your knowledge.
Have a Beautiful Month ❤️.
